They advertise bungalows for 4 that can barely accommodate 3. Supermarket is mega expensive. Only plus side is proximity to lake and a nice 2km walk into town. Great supermarket a 5 minute drive away.

Electricity kept tripping out was 'our' fault when reported we where only running 12v lights way below the 3 amps provided. No reimbursement of Electric. Also the POOL stank of rotten eggs. Very frustrating. Not good value for money.

Houses are basic but get the job done. Right next to lake and supermarkets which is great. Wouldn't recommend pool or on site shop. Nasty smell coming from the pool/shop area and the shop is pretty expensive but only a 10 minute walk to sigma nearby which has normal prices.

We came with tents and have a lovely place not far from the hotel. The personnel are all really friendly and seem to appreciate our efforts to try to speak Italian! The pool is lovely too. A lot of showers and toilets for everyone which is great and they are always very clean. I was a bit scared when I read the bad reviews but I suppose there are always grumpy people who aren't happy and they always complain first! we are really happy with our stay! Grazie mille

I have just came back from a wonderful holidays at Camping Toscolano Maderno. Everything went great, the location is fantastic, all you need is very close, beach, restaurants, shop, town center etc. We stayed at one of the Villas ( it is a new mobile house/bungalow) and I definitely recommend it. The staff at camping is very helpful and extremely polite. Animations for kids, great. Breakfasts at the restaurants are good, we didn't like dinners ( we've decided only to have breakfasts). Greetings to whole camping team.

Camping not suitable for big caravans- the main gate and the roads are narrow, there is a risk of scratching the caravan- many untrimmed trees and bushes. Receptionists are nice, but unable to solve the situation, when somebody is parking wrong. When we returned from a daytrip our pitch was occupied by somebody else. The receptionist tried to help, but we had to wait all night parking near the reception and not on the pitch we paid for. Many people told us, that this happens often in this camp because they dont use any cards which proove, which car is parked on which pitch. There are no showers in the camp and the toillets are “italian”= on the ground, without toillet paper.

I was a little worried before coming here because I stupidly read all the negative comments on TripAdvisor before arriving.||What I found here was a wonderful campsite with amazing personnel who couldn't do enough to make us happy here …
